here's the latest project in progress -- a woman's (or man's) merino wool shaker rib scarf. i knit this a little looser than i normally would to create a nice drape, therefore, it will be less stiff around the neck when wrapped several times.

...i agree, gray (or grey) is one of my favorites--such a great neutral color.
