random facts

not too long ago i was tagged by dani to reveal 7 random facts about myself and to tag 7 others to do the same. since the bloggers of all the blogs i enjoy reading have already been chosen, consider yourself tagged if you are reading this and have not.
so off i go. . .

1. i am completely addicted to plants and flowers for my garden. i buy them like an addict buys ____.
   
2. i don't like or drink milk.
3. i have horrible seasonal and indoor allergies.
4. i stop all dogs on the street and pet them and talk to them. . . nevermind the human.
5. i'm afraid one day i'll get carpal tunnel from all the knitting and typing i do.
   
6. i abhor people who do not recycle and who are oblivious to the damage we humans are doing to this earth and the fact that sea turtles are suffocating from eating plastic shopping bags, thinking they are other forms of sea life, and that the polar bears are drowning and starving to death because the ice they float on while hunting is melting from global warming.
   
7. i used to dream of being a famous editor in new york, wearing amazing shoes and fabulous designer clothing, and working in a highrise office all day. . .glad that didn't work out!
   
8. (and just because i can, here are 2 more facts. . .i guess this would mean that i like to make my own rules, so, 3 more facts.)
9. if given the chance i would boat around the world, picking up my friends and family at different ports along the way.
10. i love creating things from yarn and fabric. i love the process of taking something and giving it a life of its own and an opportunity to say something.
