waiting for needles

some alpaca boucle waiting to be knitted . . .
alpaca is one of my favorite fibers to use for knitting winter items. it is very warm, but, it isn't the best choice for garments because it does not have elastic properties like wool. so it's great for hats and scarves, or held with a strand of wool or mohair to give it added support.
